Privacy Policy
Our commitment to your digital anonymity.
Privacy is our DNA
At Breffmail, we believe that privacy is a fundamental human right. Our platform is engineered to collect the absolute minimum amount of data required to provide a functional temporary email service. We don't want your name, your real email, or your phone number.
1 Data Collection & Usage
What we store
- âĸ Generated temporary email aliases.
- âĸ Incoming emails for your active aliases.
- âĸ Attachment metadata for display purposes.
What we DON'T store
- âĸ Your IP address in connection to your aliases.
- âĸ Your personal identity or real contact info.
- âĸ Logs of which websites you use Breffmail for.
2 Data Retention & Deletion
The very nature of our service is temporary. Data retention is strictly governed by expiration timers:
- Standard Cleanup: Most aliases and emails are automatically purged after 24 hours.
- Extended Aliases: If you manually extend an alias, it persists for the selected duration (up to 7 days).
- Instant Purge: You can use the "Delete" button at any time to immediately remove an alias and all its messages from our database.
Once a record is deleted, it is wiped from our active database and cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.
3 Cookies & Local Storage
We use small bits of data stored in your browser (Cookies and LocalStorage) for one purpose only: Service Continuity.
This allows the website to remember which temporary inboxes belong to you so you don't lose access when you refresh the page. These cookies are not used for cross-site tracking or building marketing profiles.
4 Third-Party Partners
To keep Breffmail free and sustainable, we partner with:
- Google Analytics: To understand general traffic patterns (anonymized).
- Google AdSense: To display relevant advertisements.
These providers may use their own cookies to serve ads based on your visit to this and other websites. You can opt-out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
