How we create and maintain the privacy, security, and developer content on Breffmail.

Last updated: May 22, 2026

Our mission

Breffmail publishes practical guides that help people understand online privacy, email security, and digital identity — not just use our tools. Articles and guides are written to educate first and recommend responsible use of disposable email and related utilities.

How content is created

  • Topics are chosen based on real user questions, privacy news, and gaps in our knowledge base.
  • Guides explain concepts in plain language with examples, screenshots of our product where relevant, and step-by-step advice.
  • We prioritize original analysis and first-hand product walkthroughs over aggregated or copied material.
  • Developer-focused posts cover legitimate testing and QA workflows — not circumventing platform rules.

Review and updates

Articles show a published date and, when applicable, a last-updated date. Guides and pillar pages are reviewed periodically when products, laws, or best practices change.

If you spot an error or outdated section, contact us via our contact form and we will correct verified issues promptly.

Advertising and independence

Breffmail may display advertising (including Google AdSense) to support free tools. Sponsored or affiliate content, if ever published, will be clearly labeled. Editorial recommendations are not sold to third parties.

Authors

Most content is published under Breffmail Editorial, our in-house team covering privacy engineering, product education, and security awareness. Individual author names and bios appear on articles when a specific contributor leads the piece.
